Ingredients

For the Salmon
  • 3 salmon fillets cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • ½ teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • sprinkle of salt optional
For Garnish (optional)
  • Chopped chives
  • Furikake

Equipment

  • 1 air fryer

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Cut them into bite-sized cubes about 1 inch each.

  2. Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Toss until evenly coated.

  3. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil, or line it with parchment paper. Arrange the salmon pieces in a single layer, making sure the pieces do not touch.

  4. Air fry at 400°F for 6 minutes – no need to shake the basket.
    Air fryer salmon bites cooked until tender and lightly golden in the air fryer basket.
  5. While the salmon cooks, make the sauce. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and honey. Add a sprinkle of salt if needed.

  6. Transfer the cooked salmon bites to a plate and drizzle with the bang bang sauce or toss gently to coat. Garnish with chopped chives and furikake if desired. Serve and enjoy.
