Salted Caramel Cream
½cupcold heavy whipping cream
2tablespoonscaramel sauceor to taste
¼teaspoonflaky sea saltor to taste
Instructions
Fill a pot or wok with about 2 inches of water and bring it to a boil.
Place a chocolate truffle in the center of each wonton wrapper. Lightly brush the edges with water. Bring all four corners together over the chocolate and pinch them firmly at the top. Press and seal the seams tightly to completely enclose the filling, making sure there are no gaps. Repeat with the remaining wrappers.
Line a steamer basket with parchment paper and lightly grease it to prevent sticking. Arrange the dumplings in a single layer, leaving a little space between each one.
Steam for 5 to 8 minutes, or until the wrappers are tender and the chocolate has completely melted.
Meanwhile, make the salted caramel cream. Add the cream, caramel sauce, and salt to a tall glass or measuring cup. Beat with a handheld milk frother until soft peaks form. You can also use an electric hand mixer and a small bowl if you prefer.
Serve chocolate dumplings with salted caramel cream. Enjoy!
