Ingredients

For the Wings and Coating:
  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon white pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Oil spray
For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup grated parmesan
  • ½ teaspoon garlic pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes optional

Instructions

  1. Pat dry wings very well. Season with salt, white pepper, and garlic powder. Let them sit for 20 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, grated parmesan, garlic pepper, and red chili flakes, if using. Set aside.
  3. In a shallow bowl, mix the cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Coat the wings evenly in the mixture, then let them sit for 15 minutes so the coating can hydrate.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with oil, add the wings in a single layer, then spray the tops with more oil. Air fry at 370°F for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Increase the heat to 410°F and air fry for another 3 to 5 minutes, or until the wings are crispy and golden.
  6. Transfer the wings to a bowl and toss with the garlic parmesan sauce until evenly coated. Serve and enjoy!
