Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds salmon belly
  • Salt
  • Pepper
Teriyaki Glaze
  • 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • ½ tablespoon honey or to taste
Optional garnish
  • Furikake seasoning

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon belly dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. Place the salmon belly in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not touch.
  3. Air fry at 400°F for 6 minutes. Increase the temperature to 450°F and cook for 2 more minutes, or use the max crisp setting for the final 2 minutes.

  4. Meanwhile, make the teriyaki glaze. Combine soy sauce, mirin, and honey in a small bowl. Stir until well mixed.
  5. Brush the glaze over the cooked salmon belly. Garnish with furikake, if using. Serve and enjoy!
