Instructions
Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, then shape into thin oval patties.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the patties for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, melt the butter. Add the mushrooms and sauté for 5-7 minutes until browned.
Add the flour and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Slowly pour in the beef broth while whisking until smooth.
Add the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and sugar. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the gravy thickens.
Return the burger patties to the pan and simmer for another 2-3 minutes. Garnish with green onions. Serve with rice and mushroom gravy on top.
